The quest for balance between the grotesque and the minimalistic, between the personal and the public.

Gilad Jerusalmy (1989) is an independent dancer and choreographer for stage and media, based in Tel Aviv. 

As a creator, Gilad has premiered his works in Israel, since 2017. 

As a performer he has worked with a number of choreographers in Israel and internationally including: Niv Sheinfeld & Oren Laor, Dana Ruttenberg, Arkadi Zaides, Rachel Erdos, Mor Shani, Olivia Court Mesa, Ronit Ziv, Sharona Florsheim, Sebastian Zuber and others.

Gilad currently dances for Emanuel Gat Dance company (France). In addition Gilad teaches floor work for different companies, creates his own works for dance programs and gives movement classes for infants and their parents.

Gilad established and coordinated a project of movement classes for LGBTQ youth at risk, in collaboration with “Hakvutza” - Dance School and “Beit Dror” - an emergency center for LGBTQ youth in Israel.

Gilad studied at “SEAD - Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance” Austria (2014-2015); “Maslool Professional Dance Program” Tel Aviv-Jaffa (2012-2014); “Hakvutza” (“The Group”) a School for Movement and Dance for Adults, Tel Aviv-Jaffa (2011-2012); “Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts” Givatayim, theater major (2003-2007).
