“Units-Unite” - an original creation for seven women in the ages 60-75, created in collaboration with Galit Liss and “Gila” - dance school for the mature body.

 

All that was removed, gave clarity to the remains.

All that is not, all that is missed, sheds light on what is left.

The things we dropped along the way, the things we'll never be –

in their absence created this one and only possible path.

Potential has died, and so has regret.

What we had, and what we will never be –

in their absence gave birth to the existing.

 

Units-Unite was created with the support of HaPais Council for the Culture and Arts and Tel Aviv city hall arts department. As part of the retrospective event: Galit LIss - 15 years of making and creating, led by The Israeli Society for Dance Research in collaboration with the Israeli Dance archive in Beit Ariela and Inbal Dance Theatre - multidisciplinary ethnic center. The creation was initiated and supported by Galit Liss event “Collecting the Time” - 15 years of making and creating with the mature body by the Choreographer Galit Liss.
